Privacy

Thinking Outside is run by one teacher in Ontario, Canada. This page explains what information the site collects and what happens to it, in plain language.

What this site collects

If you sign up for the free lesson or the newsletter, the site collects your email address. That is the only personal information asked for, and signing up is always a choice — nothing on this site requires an account.

Like most websites, the hosting platform (WordPress.com, run by Automattic) keeps basic visit statistics — pages viewed, country, browser type. These stats are aggregate; I don’t see who you are.

What your email is used for

One email delivering what you asked for, then the blog when it publishes. No selling the list, no sharing it, no surprise mail. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works the first time.

Purchases

Paid collections are sold through Payhip, a third-party store. Your payment details go to Payhip and its payment processors, never to this site. Payhip’s own privacy policy covers that transaction.

Cookies

WordPress.com sets the technical cookies it needs to serve the site and count visits. This site adds no advertising or tracking cookies of its own.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email at any time. If you want your email address removed entirely, write to hello@thinkingoutside.ca and it will be deleted.

Changes

If this policy changes, the change appears on this page with a new date below.
